Wilkes Family Halloween display returns to downtown Bensenville

Halloween has returned to downtown Bensenville, and one of the community’s most elaborate Halloween displays is once again ready to welcome residents and visitors.

The Village of Bensenville is partnering with the Wilkes family to bring their annual Halloween display back to the corner of Center Street and Green Street in downtown Bensenville. The display is now available for viewing, and will remain on display throughout the month of October.

Each Friday and Saturday evening, the display will come to life with live actors from 7 to 10 p.m. Visitors can expect to encounter many of their favorite horror icons, including Freddy, Jason, Michael, and Pennywise.

This year’s display will also feature an entirely new area dedicated to Five Nights at Freddy’s, adding another exciting attraction for fans of the popular horror franchise.

“Events like the Wilkes Family Halloween Display show how a community tradition can grow into something that brings people from across the area to Bensenville,” said Village President Frank DeSimone. “The overwhelming response to this display has been incredible, and it is exciting to see so many families, friends, and visitors coming into our downtown to experience it.

“I want to thank the Wilkes family for the tremendous amount of time, creativity, and effort they put into creating this display and for working with the Village to make it available to our community. Attractions like this give people another reason to visit Bensenville, explore our downtown, support our local businesses, and enjoy the community together.”

The village encourages residents and visitors to make an evening of their visit by experiencing the Halloween display and exploring the restaurants, shops, and businesses throughout downtown Bensenville.
