Lombard police report

The Lombard Police Department recently reported the following arrests and citations. Persons charged with domestic battery are not named in order to protect the privacy of victims. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that subjects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

Assault, battery

Sept. 17

Curtis Dillon, 62, of Chicago, and Myrtle Thompson, 35, of Lombard, were charged with battery in the 2000 block of S. Highland at 6:05 p.m.

Criminal damage, criminal trespassing

Sept. 18

A complainant in the 1-100 block of Yorktown reported his neighbor sprayed an unknown substance on his door.

Sept. 15

A juvenile was charged with criminal trespass to vehicles in the 300 block of W. Morris at 4:38 p.m.

Sept. 13

A complainant in the 400 block of S. Ahrens advised a group of unknown juveniles broke two panels on her fence. She was advised to call back if the juveniles returned to the area.

Domestic battery, disturbance, disorderly conduct

Sept. 15

A 62-year-old Chicago man was charged with domestic battery in the 2000 block of S. Highland at 4:10 p.m.

Sept. 14

A complainant at True Lacrosse, 131 W. Eisenhower, advised that a subject had entered the business looking for employment opportunities and making odd statements. The complainant just wanted the subject to leave.

Sept. 11

A complainant in the 100 block of S. Main reported at 10:56 p.m. that her ex hit her in the face and refused to provide further information. She refused to make a report.

Sept. 10

A 35-year-old Villa Park woman was charged with domestic battery in the 300 block of E. 22nd.

A complainant in the 1-100 block of Yorktown advised that a subject almost struck them with his vehicle and yelled at them. The subject advised the complainant yelled at him as well.

A complainant in the 700 block of E. North Broadway reported her husband pushed her and grabbed her by the neck. The complainant did not wish to sign complaints at this time.

DUI, DUI-drugs, consumption of alcohol by a minor, illegal possession of alcohol

Sept. 16

Richard Joseph Stetzel, 50, of Winfield, was charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance near S. Westmore-Meyers and E. Morris at 7:07 p.m.

Sept. 15

Michael Clack, 42, of Batavia, was charged with DUI and possession of open alcohol by a driver in the 300 block of E. North at 12:16 a.m.

Imran Siddiqui, 43, of Glen Ellyn, was charged with aggravated DUI and no insurance in the 400 block of W. 22nd at 4:03 a.m.

Sept. 13

Kelvin Fouch, 31, of Chicago, was charged with DUI, speeding and improper lane usage near Westmore-Meyers and Roosevelt at 7:32 p.m.

Juan H. Lopez-Torres, 47, of Villa Park, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage near Addison and North at 2:30 a.m.

Sept. 12

Iman S. Elcock, 20, of Plainfield, was issued a citation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, while Daeveon O. Madison, 20, of Villa Park, was issued a citation for illegal possession of alcohol by a passenger near E. Roosevelt and S. Westmore-Meyers at 2 a.m.

Sept. 11

Elias Palacios Gutierrez, 34, of Lombard, was charged with DUI and speeding near S. Main and E. Roosevelt at 2:42 a.m.

Jose Salinas, 38, of Aurora, was charged with DUI in the 1100 block of E. Madison.

Harassment, threats

Sept. 12

A complainant in the 200 block of S. Westmore-Meyers reported a subject was requesting money from him and threatened him with bodily harm if he did not comply. The subject left prior to an officer’s arrival.

Identity theft, fraud

According to information provided by the Lombard Police Department, police reported 10 incidents of identity theft or fraud between Sept. 10 and Sept. 18.

Indecent exposure

Sept. 16

Moshae Smith, 30, of Bellwood, was charged with indecent exposure in the Yorktown Mall at 4:50 p.m.

Leaving the scene

Sept. 12

Kevin Liang, 28, of Aurora, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane usage, improper backing, improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device and driving on the wrong side of the road near S. Fairfield and E. Roosevelt at 8:40 p.m.

Reckless driving

Sept. 18

Uriel Ramirez, 20, of Bloomingdale, and Omar Covarrubias, 20, of Hanover Park, were issued citations for reckless driving, speeding 35 mph or more over the limit, racing and no registration plates near DuPage and North at 11:48 p.m.

Retail theft

According to information provided by the Lombard Police Department, police reported the following incidents of retail theft between Sept. 10 and Sept. 18: Mobil, 610 S. Main, at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 11; Mariano’s, 345 W. Roosevelt, at 7:51 a.m. Sept. 12; Metro PCS, 723 E. Roosevelt, at 10:24 a.m. Sept. 15; and Dick’s Sporting Goods, 810 E. Butterfield, at 1:29 p.m. Sept. 16.

Sept. 18

Mavluda Nazarova, 19, and Nodira Khursandmurodova, 20, both of Lombard, were charged with retail theft at JCPenney, 175 Yorktown, at 3:03 p.m.

Sept. 14

Ale Munoz, 23, of Newark, New Jersey, was charged with retail theft at JCPenney, 175 Yorktown, at 7:25 p.m.

Sept. 13

Angelica Glazier, 20, of St. Charles, was charged with retail theft at JCPenney, 175 Yorktown, at 6:44 p.m.

Suspicious incident

Sept. 18

A complainant at Zen Leaf, 783 E. Butterfield, an employee grabbed her when she was attempting to enter the merchandise area. The employee advised the complainant was attempting to go in without providing an ID and was only blocked her from entering.

A complainant in the 1-100 block of Yorktown reported his neighbor sprayed his door with WD-40.

Sept. 17

A complainant at Apollo Grill, 348 E. North, reported that a subject approached him with a toy gun and a machete. The subject was not located.

A complainant in the 100 block of W. North reported her neighbor was yelling at her and recording her.

Sept. 14

A complainant in the 500 block of E. Washington reported a subject was screaming in his apartment. The complainant advised the subject was upset over a relationship that ended. The subject was uncooperative and refused any assistance.

Sept. 13

A complainant in the 2200 block of S. Fountain Square reported at 6:36 a.m. that her neighbor had been murdered and dragged out his patio door. The neighbor was fine and spoke to the complainant.

Sept. 11

A detective at Glenbard East High School discovered a juvenile in possession of a vape.

Sept. 10

A complainant advised at 11:48 p.m. that the driver of an unknown black vehicle followed him to the Lombard Police Department, and the complainant requested an escort home. An officer followed the complainant home without issue.

Theft, burglary, deceptive practices

Sept. 14

An employee at U.S. Upfitters, 980 N. Lombard, reported two unknown males broke into the parking lot and stole four tires.

A complainant in the 100 block of Yorktown reported someone stole his credit card from his mailbox and made purchases with it.

A complainant in the 2200 block of S. Highland advised at 10:09 p.m. that a package of his was taken from the mailroom.

Sept. 12

A complainant at Mariano’s, 345 W. Roosevelt, reported a wallet belonging to a victim was taken from the car while he was shopping. Store video did not show anyone approaching the vehicle.

Warrant arrest

Sept. 18

Jonae Scales, 24, of Lombard, was released on pre-trial recognizance in the 400 block of W. 22nd at 9:54 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant.

Sept. 13

Dejuan Orr, 29, of Chicago, was transported to DuPage County Jail on a DuPage County warrant at 2:12 a.m.
