Willowbrook High School’s flag football team earned a second-place finish in the recent Nike 7’s event. The 16-team competition at Willowbrook was held in partnership between Nike and the Chicago Bears. The Warriors earned a $1,000 donation to their school’s flag football program with their second-place finish. Willowbrook’s flag football team won the third-place trophy in the 2025 IHSA state tournament, which concluded with the quarterfinal, semifinal, third-place and championship contests on the Warriors’ stadium field. Willowbrook’s 2026 season begins in August.
