A 34-year-old Villa Park man was charged with domestic battery and violation of an order of protection in the 400 block of N. Gerard at 12:06 a.m. He was transported to the DuPage County Jail.

A complainant in the 300 block of N. Princeton reported an unknown subject entered their vehicle and rummaged through the contents, but no items were missing.

A complainant in the 600 block of N. Princeton reported an ongoing dispute with their neighbor over property lines.

June 15

Andres Viera Morales, 18, of Bensenville, was charged with retail theft at a store in the 1-100 block of E. North at 3:40 p.m.

A complainant at a store in the 1-100 block of E. St. Charles reported at 8:37 p.m. that a subject was disturbing others and loitering outside. The subject was issued a trespass warning.

June 14

A complainant in the 1000 block of W. North reported that a subject battered them.

June 12

Gilmar Baudilio Gomez Vasquez, 26, of Villa Park, was charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license in the 900 block of W. North at 10:23 p.m.

A complainant near S. Ardmore and E. Riordan reported at 12:02 a.m. that four juvenile subjects were yelling at the complainant from a vehicle. All four subjects were issued citations.

June 11

Edward Lee Searcy, 55, of Summit, was charged with retail theft—possessing displayed merchandise not exceeding $300—at a pharmacy in the 200 block of E. Roosevelt at 1:39 p.m.

A complainant at a store in the 400 block of W. North reported at 9:36 a.m. that a subject was near the entrance, repeatedly yelling at customers. The subject was issued a trespass warning.

June 10

Beverli Isabel Paredez Hichos, 21, of Villa Park, was charged with two counts of endangering the health or life of a child in the 600 block of N. Wisconsin at 6:46 p.m.

Identity theft, fraud

According to information provided by the Villa Park Police Department, two incidents of identity theft or fraud were reported in the village between June 10 and June 16.
