Timothy Christian’s Matt Davidson named 2026 Educator of the Year

Timothy Christian Schools has announced that Superintendent Matt Davidson has been named the 2026 Educator of the Year for private and parochial schools by the DuPage Regional Office of Education.

The award was presented at the annual Educators of the Year Awards Banquet, an event established under the leadership of DuPage ROE Superintendent Amber Quirk to recognize and celebrate educators across one of Illinois’ largest counties. With a population nearing one million, DuPage County is the second largest in the state, making this recognition especially significant.

Davidson reflected on the honor, saying, “It was very humbling because it’s a reflection of the community of Timothy Christian Schools and God’s faithfulness more than anything else.”

The evening brought together a wide range of educators from across DuPage County—public and nonpublic alike—to celebrate a shared commitment to excellence in education.

Attendees heard remarks from Adrian Talley, Ed.D., and Tony Sanders, whose keynote address encouraged continued leadership and called for collaboration across the field.
