The final interviews to determine Lombard’s 2026 Lilac Queen took place on Saturday, April 25, at the Westin Chicago Lombard, 70 Yorktown Center. During Saturday’s interviews, each princess met separately with a panel of three judges who neither live nor work in Lombard. Those judges then
decided which princess will be named this year’s Lilac Queen. Pictured left to right before the interviews are: Princess Elle Turner, Princess McKenna
Schanks, Princess Charlotte Martin, and Princess Alexis Roimicher. All four of the pictured princesses attend Glenbard East High School. Not
pictured is Princess Lori Ong, who attends Timothy Christian High School. She was in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, to attend the DECA International
Career Development Conference (ICDC) for high school students. Ong conducted an online interview with the three-judge panel. One of the five court members will be crowned as the 2026 Lilac Queen during this weekend’s coronation ceremony in Lilacia Park. The ceremony, which begins at 1 p.m. this Saturday, May 2, is open to the public. (Photo by Chris Fox)
