Glenbard East senior Finn Talbot participated in singles action at the IHSA Class 2A boys tennis state meet last week. Talbot, who qualified for the Class 2A state singles meet in each of his four seasons as a Ram, suffered a 7-5, 6-1 loss in his first-round match on Thursday, May 28. He then won three straight matches on that same day in the consolation draw of the double-elimination tournament. Talbot lost his first match on Friday, May 29, falling in straight sets in the fourth round of the consolation bracket.
