Put your dancing boots on, partners! Rock ‘N Wheels country night is here.
Bring your lawn chairs and your cowboy hats to the Village Green for a night of music, food, and fun from 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, weather permitting.
The head wrangler of the night will be national act Easton Corbin, known for No. 1 singles like “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It.” He will take over the 95.9 The River FM stage at 8 p.m., with a unique blend of traditional and modern country music that has shot him onto stages across the U.S. Don’t miss the chance to saddle up and sing along with this country talent.
Warming up the crowd at 6:30 p.m. will be rising country star Belles. Fresh off a released song with none other than Dolly Parton called “Son of Jolene”, she will be bringing her Midwest grit and country soul to the stage.
The fun doesn’t end there. When you have the chance to put your lasso away, mosey on down to the Addison Historical Museum where a historical portrayal of John Adams, performed by the wonderful Terry Lynch, will be taking place to celebrate America 250. There will also be a chance to ring the historic fire bell in exchange for some free America 250 swag.
The museum buildings will also be open from 6 to 8 p.m., and the Craft and Vintage Fair will line the museum buildings for you to explore.
Food, beverages, and ice cream will be available for purchase from Addison's very own 601 Bar & Grill, Barbara's Polish Deli, Culvers, El Ancla Mariscos, Muggs-N-Manor, Tacos Puebla and Dunkley's Tavern.
Additionally, stop by the Car Show located at Green Meadow Shopping Center where you can see classic cars in the spots along Lake Street only. Custom bikes can park on the east side of May Street to be viewed as well.
