The Illinois Volleyball Coaches Association (IVCA) recently announced its 2026 boys volleyball All-State teams. Two Glenbard East seniors—Gabe Polyak and Jake Hayes—earned All-State recognition. Polyak was named to the All-State Second Team. Hayes was named to the All-State Third Team. Polyak and Hayes helped the Rams to a 25-14 record during the 2026 season. On May 28, Glenbard East defeated Plainfield North to win the championship at the Oswego East Regional. The Rams earned the program’s first regional title since 2015 with that victory. Glenbard East’s season ended with a three-game loss to Bolingbrook in a semifinal battle at the Hinsdale South Sectional on May 30. Polyak and Hayes are both pictured during the Rams’ season-ending match.
