Join the Addison Police Department and the Village of Addison on Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 5 to 9 p.m. on the Village Green for Addison’s National Night Out.
National Night Out is a great way to connect with your community and also with your first responders, celebrating the spirit of a safe and welcoming community.
Addison’s National Night Out will feature a performance from 7TH Heaven from 7-9 p.m., as well as having DJ Chicken Wang on the big stage setting the mood from 5-7 p.m.
Music isn’t the only thing coming to Addison, though! To amp up our night of fun, there will be a giant slide, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, balloon animals, and much more. There will also be a chance to meet Addison policemen and fire fighters, as well as Touch-A-Truck, and a Police vs Fire donut eating contest.
Don’t forget to stop by the Addison Historical Museum tent from 6-8 p.m., where there will be games and a portrayal of Benjamin Franklin done by Terry Lynch.
Getting Hungry? Food, drinks, and deserts will be available for purchase from Addison’s very own: Muggs ‘n Manor, Holy Smokes, Italian Bakery, Juan Y Yo Taco Grill and Dunkley’s Tavern.
Come out with your community for summer fun in celebration of a stronger, safer neighborhood. For more information, visit ithappensinaddison.com
