The Village of Lombard will close out its 2026 Cruise Nights and Summer Concert season, presented by Tommy’s Express Car Wash, with the annual Summer Concert Finale on Saturday, Aug. 22. Hi Infidelity, a popular ’80s rock cover band, will perform from 6 to 9 p.m.
As a reminder, this year’s Summer Concert Finale will be a concert-only event and will not include a car show. The change will allow for an expanded concert layout while helping improve pedestrian safety in the event area.
To accommodate the anticipated large crowd size, the concert stage will be located just west of the intersection of St. Charles Road and Main Street. Beginning at 3 p.m., St. Charles Road will be closed to through traffic between Elizabeth Street and Main Street, with a full closure between South Lincoln Avenue and Main Street.
One-way traffic will be maintained on St. Charles Road from Elizabeth Street to South Lincoln Avenue and on South Lincoln Avenue toward Michael McGuire Drive. Attendees are encouraged to review the event layout map on the Village website for additional details.
Families can also enjoy inflatable games, airbrush tattoos, face painting, balloon twisting and a magic show in the Kids’ Corner from 6 to 9 p.m. Popcorn and water will also be available for purchase from the Lombard Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, with proceeds benefiting Lombard’s Shop-With-A-Cop program.
Concert attendees are encouraged to use available commuter parking lots in the area. Chairs may be placed in the concert viewing area beginning at 4 p.m. Portable restrooms will be available at designated locations throughout the event area. Attendees aged 21 and older with valid identification may purchase alcoholic beverages from participating licensed businesses for consumption within the designated concert area. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
