In 2021, Montini Catholic High School established the Lasallian Partner Award, an honor presented to a staff member who exemplifies and lives out the Lasallian spirit of education within the Bronco community. This year's recipient is Keeley Dooley ('89), administrative assistant in the school's athletic department. She was recognized during the Lasallian college preparatory high school's annual Celebration of Excellence ceremony in May.
"Mrs. Dooley is someone whose dedication, humility, and tireless service make an immeasurable impact on our school community each and every day," said Montini President Kevin Beirne in recognizing Dooley. "While much of her work happens behind the scenes, the success of countless events, programs and experiences at Montini simply would not be possible without her."
Dooley is a Villa Park resident and a proud member of Montini’s Class of 1989. She just completed her sixth year serving her alma mater in the athletic department. "In many ways, she has become the engine that keeps the department running smoothly," said President Beirne. "From setting up athletic registrations and finalizing rosters, to confirming schedules with opponents, coordinating officials, scheduling event workers, organizing senior nights, and managing postseason awards, her fingerprints are on nearly every aspect of Montini athletics." He added, "Mrs. Dooley helps supervise and run more than 100 home contests each school year, often working long hours with little recognition, simply because she cares deeply about our students and our school community. She also coordinates the annual Varsity Athletic Awards Night, overseeing all of the awards, decorations, and details that help make the evening such a meaningful celebration for our student-athletes and families.”
