Just in time for the Fourth of July, the Village of Addison’s brand-new Hometown Heroes banners were put up along Lake Street, recognizing some of the incredible Addison heroes who are currently serving or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The Village of Addison honors them for their courage and dedication to our country, with the banners as a small token of our appreciation and admiration. The village says thank you to all the service members and veterans who participated in the program and thank you to the Public Works crew who put them up for the Fourth of July. Applications are submitted throughout the month of April. Applications are currently closed, but if you're interested in participating next year, keep an eye out for the application opening April 1 on AddisonAdvantage.org (Submitted photo)
