The Explore Elmhurst Trolley is back for its 10th season, offering residents and visitors a free, easy and enjoyable way to experience everything Elmhurst has to offer.

The trolley opened for the summer season on June 5 and will continue running from noon to 11 p.m. each Friday and Saturday through Sept. 26.

There will be expanded trolley operations during select community events, including Rock the Block (Sept. 11-12).

The Explore Elmhurst Trolley connects riders to dining, shopping, entertainment and recreation destinations across the city with convenient stops throughout Elmhurst at: York and Park; York and Schiller; Second and Addison; Cottage Hill and Virginia; Spring and the Illinois Prairie Path; and York and Vallette. The trolley completes the full route approximately every 30 minutes, making it easy to hop on and hop off while exploring Elmhurst’s restaurants, shops, entertainment venues and community destinations.

From local dining and boutique shopping to community events and seasonal activities, the trolley connects Elmhurst’s business districts and destinations in one convenient ride, without the hassle of parking or driving.

Running Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer and returning for the Holly Trolley season during the holidays, the trolley has become a signature Elmhurst tradition that brings people together while supporting local businesses and experiences.
